This is a Thai-Japanese restaurant. Since I’m Thai, I was a little worried about how authentic the flavors would be. But once I walked in and saw that the chef is Thai, I felt more at ease. The Thai dishes turned out to be quite delicious, especially considering it’s a Thai restaurant abroad.
Come on....this is just soooo good. Tom kha gai rich silky and I reckon they have kidnapped an old thai granny to make it. Beef rice gyoza were top notch....the best dinner in tekapo
Treated ourselves to some Ramen after a big day skiing at round hill, had pretty casual expectations but ended up being blown away by the food. It came out fast, it was delicious, great portion size and left everyone happy. We had a booking for 6pm but turned up a little early and they were happy to take us. Very relaxed atmosphere and fantastic happy polite staff. We will definitely be returning.
It was so nice to eat some hot ramen on a cold day at this restaurant. We came just after it opened in the evening, and about 20 minutes later, it was full. Make sure to come on time! The staff is super friendly and the food is really delicious. Affordable prices for good quality.
Very good restaurant for asian food like thai. Service was excellent and the taste and quality was wonderful. would eat here again and recommend this place
A nice place to grab food in Tekapo - I ordered the Vegetable Pad Thai which was very tasty and a decently sized portion, my partner ordered the Tonkotsu The tables are quite crammed in and it was very busy even at 6pm so we were quick to eat to free up space. I would recommend visiting before 6.30pm otherwise you will be queuing out the door for a table. It’s obviously a popular place for a reason!
The food is amazing cant wait to come back, the one star off atmosphere is simply because its quite chilly inside but once the food and mulled wine arrives quickly you forget all about it! Just make sure to bring a scarf and a beanie! Couldnt even take a photo before the food was demolished
The ramen is delicious, honestly compares to Japan authentic Ramen. The pork is cooked perfectly. At this time they are struggling for staff and it is SO busy so if you need a big group book ahead, if not a short wait for small parties.
